Constipation-Boosting Smoothie
This smoothie is designed to keep things moving while still tasting fresh and delicious. Kiwi is one of the best fruits for supporting digestion, berries bring antioxidants and fibre, leafy greens add bulk, and healthy fats help keep you satisfied. Blend it all together and you’ve got a nourishing, gut-friendly drink that’s as functional as it is tasty.
Ingredients
2 green kiwifruit (peeled and quartered)
½–1 cup berries of your choice (fresh or frozen)
1 handful spinach or kale
1 scoop protein powder or gelatin
1 heaped tsp nut butter or MCT/coconut oil
1 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
Optional: 1 tsp of liquid chlorophyll
Extra water (to adjust consistency)
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a blender.
Blend on high until smooth and creamy (about 30 seconds).
Pour into a glass, sip slowly, and enjoy!
Extra Tips
Add a tablespoon of ground flaxseed or chia seeds for extra fibre.
Use frozen fruit if you like your smoothies extra thick and cold.
